Quorum: If a contract is publicly deployed in one node, can I hide the data of the contract later from other nodes?

I have deployed a common smartcontract for all 5 nodes in a quorum network. If I do a transaction of smartcontract from node 1 provide privateFor as public id of node 2, will my transaction be hidden from other three nodes? Any insight in the right direction will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Why does Elasticsearch allow me to index documents in a single node cluster that fails to meet quorum requirements?

From https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/guide/2.x/distrib-write.html: Note that the number_of_replicas is the number of replicas specified in the index settings, not the number of replicas that are currently active. If you have specified that an index should have three replicas, a quorum...

How does RAFT consensus algorithm in Quorum ensure deterministic chain extension?

In Quorum's RAFT consensus docs it is mentioned that This chain extension logic is deterministic: the same exact behavior will occur on every single node in the cluster, keeping the blockchain in sync. In a case when there is leader change going on, how can the consensus algorithm ensure that all th...
